In a typical apartment building from the 1980s, located very close to the center of Chania, we renovated and reconfigured a 70 sq.m. apartment. The design aims to balance functionality and privacy, creating a modern home that accommodates the residents' needs.
To unify the shared spaces, we used a common ceramic tile throughout the entire floor area, both indoors and outdoors, complemented by vertical walnut wood paneling. The lighting design features a central rail with a combination of distinctive light fixtures. In the private areas, wooden flooring was selected.
All these elements were set against a white backdrop to create a balanced and restful environment.
