CITY MOMENTS

The apartment is located in the center of Chania and is developed on the 5th and 6th floor of a newly built building. The main goal of architectural design and interior decoration was to create a comfortable and luxurious living space for the purpose of tourist exploitation.

The apartment is developed on two levels with a total area of 148.00 sq.m. On the second level we find the living room, the kitchen with the dining room and a small wc. A characteristic element of the residence are the large balconies that develop on both free sides of the building and have views of the city, the sea and the mountains.

The apartment is developed on two levels with a total area of 148.00 sq.m. On the second level we find the living room, the kitchen with the dining room and a small wc. A characteristic element of the residence are the large balconies that develop on both free sides of the building and have views of the city, the sea and the mountains.

The bedrooms were designed with the needs of the modern traveler in mind who is looking for a luxury accommodation experience during their holiday season. They all have a private bathroom, queen size bed, comfortable storage areas and have access to large balconies, from which one can enjoy the city's landscape and the endless blue of the sea.

The living room is developed on the top floor of the building and is a space that "opens up" to the city, as large through openings make the boundaries of the interior and exterior inconspicuous. On one side of the apartment the visitor has the opportunity to enjoy the unparalleled view of the Venetian harbor and the seductive blue of the sea, while on the other hand the eye travels from Akrotiri to the White Mountains. At the same level, emphasis was placed on the design of the large balcony with the dominant element of the private heated pool, from which visitors can enjoy swimming in the heart of the city gazing at the endless blue of the sea that opens in front of them.

Most of the furniture was designed and manufactured for this project. The predominant material is oak in a dark shade and light gray-beige shades on walls, floors and fabrics with the exception of some places, such as the fireplace and a headboard, which were chosen to be emphasized using dark gray wall color.

Lighting is an important part of the design, which is why all lighting fixtures, both indoors and outdoors, were carefully selected by the study team.
