In Marathi beach of Chania, in one of the most privileged places, the restaurant Patrelantonis has been located for years. The study focuses on the decoration of the restaurant and the redesign of its main façade and includes works concerning its exterior space, the complete replacement of all furniture, the design of shades and permanent decorative elements.

In Marathi beach of Chania, in one of the most privileged places, the restaurant Patrelantonis has been located for years. The study focuses on the decoration of the restaurant and the redesign of its main façade and includes works concerning its exterior space, the complete replacement of all furniture, the design of shades and permanent decorative elements.

The central idea was based on the integration of the building into its seaside location while aiming to bring the space to life through design with respect to its history. The project incorporates natural materials such as wood, stone, bamboo and earthy colors into the décor to add texture and character to the space. The combination of these purposefully designed and natural elements such as the metal pergola with the reeds, the use of terracotta, the special spinners, create an architecture of multiple senses in complete harmony and coexistence with the natural environment, providing a comfortable shelter from the strong sun and ensuring a luxurious but relaxed atmosphere for the visitor.
