ASIAN RESTAURANT BLUE DONG

In 2018, our company undertook the renovation of the Asian restaurant of the Avra Imperial Hotel, located in Kolymvari in the Municipality of Platanias. Avra Imperial Hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel, operating since 2011. The architectural identity of the hotel is inspired by the structural features of the ancient Minoan palaces. The hotel has a total of five restaurants, including the Asian restaurant Blue Dong.

The renovation of the restaurant included the interior of 175sq.m. and the exterior of 250sq.m. The main concern of the decoration and renovation study was the creation of a unified style that would correspond to an Asian restaurant of modern standards, comparable to those of its counterparts in the category of restaurants abroad.

More specifically, the changes that have been carried out concern the complete replacement of all the furniture, the covering of the structural elements of the restaurant with mirrors and special wooden structures and the replacement of the lighting fixtures. The main idea of the decoration is based on the creation of a composition consisting of a wall surface covered with Nero Marquina marble and a large wallpaper. In front of this composition, a large monastic table is placed. A specially designed sushi preparation area, made of lightweight materials, wood and plexi glass, is placed in a typical spot of the restaurant.
