In the center of the city of Chania, on Papanastasiou Street, the HABIT café shop was designed and constructed. It is a ground floor elongated shop of 50sq.m. that includes the main shop area, a storage room and a bathroom for staff and visitors.
During the study, emphasis was placed on the layout of the store's functions in such a way as to save the maximum possible usable space. Thus, it was chosen to create a main circulation corridor, where the basic functions of the store will be placed on either side: a linear bar where the preparation and reception of coffee and the preparation of snacks will take place and a composition with shelves where promotional and promotional products will be placed.
Above the bar, a metal composition is placed to support lighting fixtures and plants and signs. The construction consists of perforated metal elements and discrete metal rods. The study is complemented by the design of an open facade of the store in order to ensure natural light and ventilation.
The materials chosen are wood in beige and white shades, glass and metal.
